With the rapid development of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), while bringing substantial benefits to human society, it has also given rise to the "dark side" issue of "Technostress" (TS), exerting numerous negative impacts on individual users and organizations. Based on theoretical foundations and combined with exploratory interviews and focus group discussions, this paper proposes a research on technostress in human-computer interaction for ordinary users. The aim is to design stress-sensitive adaptive systems to alleviate technostress and enhance users' well-being, health status, performance, and productivity. This paper elaborates in detail on the theoretical model of technostress, including its causes, influencing factors, and consequences. It also presents a set of design blueprints, covering design guidelines, architectures, implementation roadmaps, and evaluation plans. Meanwhile, future research directions are explored.
